3 employees at Charlotte businesses cited for violating stay-at-home order

The other two cited were at Smoke Shops, High Life on North Tryon Street and Cloudzilla on Central Avenue.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said in all three cases, officers tried to educate the employees and gave them a warning first. But in all three cases, they refused to stop, and officers cited them.

The stay-at-home order issued by North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper allows only essential businesses to remain open.
