Australia's men's sevens rugby team have made a disastrous start to their Olympic campaign, stunned 29-19 by Argentina in Tokyo.
The Aussies trailed 24-0 at halftime and while former Wallabies star Samu Kerevi helped spark a recovery with a try it was too little too late.
The loss puts Australia's hopes of progressing out of their group in severe doubt.
Tim Walsh's side should beat Korea tonight (7pm AEST) but they will start underdogs against New Zealand tomorrow.
Only the top two teams qualify from each group.
New Zealand thrashed Korea 45-5 in their opening match.
