Motion of Thanks to the Governor's Speech

Revanth Reddy also pointed out that during the BRS regime, the budget session in 2022 began without the governor's speech. In 2023, the BRS-led government had initially planned to skip the governor's address, but the speech was allowed only after the court's intervention. He criticized the previous government, saying that governments are not personal property and accused the BRS of insulting the then woman governor. He said, “The governor will address the assembly only on topics approved by the cabinet. Ours is a Congress government, a people's administration and that is our way. We will include only the work done for the people in the governor's speech.” For further details, you can check Vaartha’s e-paper.
