On the criticism of the Governor's address by the opposition, Revanth Reddy said, "The budget meetings of 2022 started without the Governor's speech. He said that in 2023 also, the budget meetings wanted to start without the Governor's address. When the court took a tough stand, the government allowed the Governor's speech. Systems were created in the spirit of the Constitution. We should respect them. Governments are not the property of individuals. The previous government had made fun of a woman governor coming from a weaker section. The Governor will address both the houses on the subjects approved by the cabinet. Ours is a Congress government.. It is the rule of the people. Our policy. Our views.. We will include only those things in the Governor's address that we have done for the public.
The Chief Minister also commented on his frequent visits to Delhi. Mr. Reddy said he visited Delhi 32 times in the last 15 months, meeting the Prime Minister thrice and all Union Ministers to provide funds to Telangana. Except for two times when he travelled by chartered flights, he always travelled in commercial aircraft along with others, Mr. Reddy said. The Chief Minister listed projects sanctioned during his visits, including the airport in Warangal, approval to invite tenders for the northern part of the regional ring road, Indian Institute of Handloom Technology. “We have formed a Kisan Aayog to find a permanent solution to the problems of farmers. We are fighting from the streets to Delhi to provide water till the last Ayakattu. He also wants KCR to continue giving suggestions as the leader of the opposition so that the welfare of the common people is ensured."
